The Egg
The Susan B. Anthony Society for the Sisters of Gertrude Stein
No men. No meat. All manners.

The Susan B. Anthony Society for the Sisters of Gertrude Stein, was founded February 15th, 1927 by the followers of Lady Ulrika Monmont.
Lady Monmont was a pioneer in women's ability to survive alone, without the assistance of man, society, food or shelter.
She lived alone in the woods for many years, surviving off of bark, twigs and berries, without a trace of other sustenance. One  day she came across a colony of feral chickens and was able to live of if their eggs. When Ulrika emerged from the woods, she came with a message and that message was: RESPECT THE EGG!

Our mission is to provide resources and community for widowed and unmarried women. Much like the egg provided Lady Ulrika Monmont with life giving protein, the Susan B. Anthony Society for the Sisters of Gertrude Stein give single women a life line, whatever their station in life. The organization focuses on making women strong, independent, but still feminine.
